LEAGUE QUEENS Pan American International Insurance Warrens continued the trek towards their first double crown honours when the Goddard Enterprises Limited senior volleyball knockouts continued Monday night at Oldbury, St Philip.

Playing their customary aggressive serve, pass and attack game, Warrens stopped a plucky effort from Phoenix Security Services Carlton 25-19, 25-20, 19-25, 25-20.

Young Risa Niles fought valiantly for Carlton, but their poor passing was undone by the powerful serves from Talya Layne and Rhe-Ann Niles, with Niles teaming up with spiker Xhane Greenidge to destroy Carlton’s net and ground defence.

Just as they have done over the years, Carlton won points in bunches and threw them away in similar manner. (KB)
