LOOK LIKE THE road to the Co-operators General Insurance Premier League will be going through Gall Hill after Urban Vybz St John’s Sonics bolstered their squad with Pinelands national players Charles Vanderpool and Ramon Simmons.

They serve as the major headliners of a big off-season haul, which includes star Cougars forward Ricardo “Howard” Jemmott and talented guards Jamar King and Stefan Yard.

Sonics head coach Charles Griffith confirmed the acquisitions even after making the post-season last year with a relatively good team around national big man Akeem Marsh.

“I believe their additions will make a big difference in the team. As long as we can gel, then we will be a force to be reckoned with in the league,” said Griffith. (JM)
