Dorsett can strike today

LAST YEAR’S Gold Cup winner Dorsett has a final chance today to rekindle his flagging form and set the record straight with a victory in the featured Coolmore Home Of Champions Stakes and Trophy at the Garrison Savannah.

Since winning the Caribbean’s most prestigious race, the Madoo-owned Robert Peirce horse has thrown in a couple of ordinary efforts alongside a second place finish. However, he must be respected, especially since he has never been lower than third position at today’s distance over 1 800 metres.

If Dorsett is defeated, then racing enthusiasts could witness a nerve-racking finish between Infrared and Nekitta. Their form has been exemplary, especially the Raizman brothers Infrared, who returned from an injury setback with a stunning performance when encountering the top-class horses.
