Man also charged with importation of guns at Port

A SECOND PERSON has been charged with the importation of five guns found in a barrel at the Bridgetown Port last year.

Colin Alfonso Wooding, 50, of Green Hill Drive, Silver Hill, Christ Church, has been charged along with 29-year-old Skye Yasmin Lecreta Murray of Perry Gap, Roebuck Street, St Michael. skye-yasmin-lecreta-murray

The five firearms were found among foodstuff in a barrel shipped from the United States.

Murray went to clear the barrel and was arrested and charged by police on December 19, 2016. She was remanded to HMP Dodds to reappear in Court on January 16.

Police investigations continued and Wooding was charged last Wednesday.

They were both remanded to reappear on February 9 when they appeared in court last Friday. (PR/SAT)
