18-year-old to appear on gun and ammo charges

ACTING ON A TIP, police arrested and charged an 18-year-old St Michael youth with unlawful possession of a firearm and 16 rounds of ammunition.

According to a police release, they received the information which led to the arrest of Jeffrey Aaron Holder of Grazettes Industrial Park, St Michael.

Police went to Retreat Terrace, Black Rock on Sunday around 2:30 p.m. and pursued Holder who ran when he saw the officers.

A firearm and 16 rounds of ammunition were reportedly found in his possession during a search.

The teen is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court on Tuesday. (PR/SAT)
