ADRIAN “DAN” SKEETE isn’t just the man with a plan. He is a “proper pork” road tennis butcher.
Skeete dished out a record six sows on his way to winning the inaugural AOne Supermarkets Lance Bynoe Masters Road Tennis Tournament on Sunday night at the cosy Rubis court in Brighton.
In a repeat of the 1998 Banks final, southpaw Skeete turned the tables on Jeffrey “Barah” Best with a 21-7, 21-18 victory.
The 50-year-old Skeete, of Stewart Hill, St John, earned the first prize of $5 000, a mahogany trophy and a roast pig. (EZS)
