LURLEEN SWINSTEAD is so fed up and afraid that she is considering leaving Barbados forever.

Swinstead spends her time between England and Barbados but wants to eventually settle back home. However, she said things started going south after an attack left her needing an operation overseas.
“A cousin of mine started building a structure in 2008 or before, but the first time I knew about it was when Town and Country Planning wrote to me in England, telling me they would remove the structure and send me the bill. I am paying tax for that land but the details are complicated. I wrote back to them saying I knew nothing about what he was doing,” she said. (CA)
