CCC breeze over the Americas

KEON HARDING and Amir Jangoo led Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC) Marooners to a seven-wicket victory over ICC Americas in the Regional Super50 tournament yesterday.

Playing at the Windward Cricket Club at Lucas Street, St Philip, Marooners put the Americas in to bat, restricted them to 181 for nine from 50 overs, and easily reached 184 for three in 45.4 overs to complete their second win in as many matches.

Player Of The Match Harding continued his impressive display in just his second regional limited-overs match.

After taking three wickets in his debut match against Jamaica Scorpions on the opening day of the tournament, the 20-year old Combermere old scholar was economical in taking two wickets for 27 runs from his allotted ten overs and also took two superb catches. (AH)
