THE ST MICHAEL North West football team took to the streets to celebrate their capturing of the National Sports Council’s Youth Development Cup Programme Community Under-17 Tournament during a motorcade on Saturday.
On Errol Barrow Day, they defeated first time finalists St Michael North East 1-0 at Briar Hall.
The motorcade, which was staged by the St Michael North West Constituency Council began at its office in Black Rock and followed a route in the surrounding areas, finishing at the Barbados Vocational Training Board Centre.
Coach Robert Jones said since they missed out on winning the cup after being losing their semi-final in last year’s inaugural tournament, there were no words to express his feelings. (RG)
