Man pleads guilty to fraud charges

JAMAICAN ANDRE HARVEY was sentenced to six months in HMP Dodds today after pleading guilty to fraud charges.

Harvey, 31, was jointly charged with Romanian Constantin Ursu.

He pleaded guilty to one count of going equipped for criminal deception and two counts of money laundering when he appeared before Magistrate Wanda Blair in the Holetown Magistrate Court.

The two six-month sentences will run concurrently.

Harvey and Ursu, who were found in possession of a large quantity of cash and ATM Cards after police acted on information received. (PR/SAT)
