Robber shot man with gun he found

A 30-YEAR-OLD MAN said the gun he used to shoot his robbery victim was one that he “found”.

Trevor Junior “Lil Trev” Griffith, of Block #16E, Gall Hill, St John, pleaded guilty to three charges, including one relating to the use of a firearm, when he appeared in the No. 5 Supreme Court before Justice Jacqueline Cornelius yesterday.

In addition to the use of a firearm charge, he is also accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Tony Browne and assaulting him with intent to rob.

All the offences occurred on August 27, 2012. (TKS)
