Five injured in accident

FIVE PEOPLE, including two drivers, were injured in another accident today in Barbados.

The collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. along Newton Road, Christ Church.

Injured were driver Ashton Parris, 50, of Cliff Land, St John; Dave Parris, 46, of the same address; as well as 18-year-old Christopher Roach and 56-year-old Chelston Clarke, both of Kendal, St John.

Menelik Hinkson, 33, of Fair View, Christ Church, was the lone occupant of the other car.

Everyone complained of various injuries, including to the head and chest, and were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for medical attention. (PR/SAT)
