A CASE OF mistaken identity.

That is how the family of Michael Edwards described his gunning down by two masked men on Thursday afternoon outside his Bartlett Tenantry, Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church home. The 18-year-old succumbed to his injuries at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Thursday night.

His uncle Mark, who cradled him in his arms after the shooting, said Michael had six bullet wounds to his body – one to the leg, chin, abdomen and three exit wounds in the back.

It was a sombre mood at the Taitt/Edwards home yesterday afternoon as relatives tried to make sense of the tragedy that claimed the life of their loved one. (YB)
