House burns while no one is home

POLICE ARE CONDUCTING investigations into a fire of unknown origin, which occurred early this morning at Enterprise Main Road, Christ Church.

The home, which was owned by Wilbert Branch 66, of Enterprise Development, was occupied by 46-year-old Ralph Walcott.

According to police, Walcott was away from home when his neighbour observed the house was on fire around 2:48 a.m. and alerted the Fire Service and the police.

The two bedroom wooden house was destroyed.

Investigations into the matter are continuing, and anyone who can provide information is asked to contact the Oistins Police Station at 4182612 or 4182605, Police Emergency number 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.
