GENERAL SECRETARY of the Barbados Workers’ Union (BWU), Toni Moore, has come out publicly to chide Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite over his recent comments regarding the previous management of the Barbados Water Authority (BWA).

Two weeks ago, Brathwaite raised eyebrows when he suggested that the management of the state-owned BWA should have been fired for their mishandling of the sewage problems that plagued the island’s South Coast just before Christmas last year.

But Moore’s issue was not  with Brathwaite’s suggestion to send the top brass packing.

Instead, the BWU boss admonished Brathwaite for blaming the unions for being up in arms at any thought of discipline being meted out for the significant failure of the BWA management. (BA/PR)
