That, said one of the people behind one of the island’s pet boarding facilities, could be the only reason why Government was looking to enact legislation to ban pit bulls.
But Dorin Boyce, owner of Woodbourne Boarding Kennels, believes that should Government follow through with the idea, then other measures should be put in place as well.
“If you are going to ban something, you can’t literally destroy everything that is here. You can’t take in every pit bull and put it down, but you have got to make sure they don’t breed them again. And spay and neuter is the only way to go on this island,” she said. (HLE)
