GREEN HOUSE were runaway champions at Half Moon Fort Primary’s inter-house championships at the school’s St Lucy ground recently.

The new champions won by 92 points, finishing with 304 points, well ahead of Purple on 212 points. Former champions Orange settled for third place.

Green’s success was built mainlu on the efforts of Alisha Johnson and Dakota Graham, who shared the victix ludorum title with 40 points each.

Competing in the Under-13 division, Johnson won the 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres and long jump, and took second place in the 600 metres and bronze in the cricket ball throw.

Though small in stature, Dakota Graham didn’t let that derail her mission. She left her rivals in the dust, running away with wins in the 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres and 600 metres. Graham also placed second in the cricket ball throw and third in the long jump.

Victor ludorum Kevin Joseph of Purple recorded a total of 42 points, winning the 100 metres, 200 metres and 400 metres in the Under-13 division. He also placed second in the 800 metres and long jump.

Green’s Talayna Winfield also showcased her talent in winning the Under-9 Girls’ 80 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres and placing third in the cricket ball throw, for a total of 29 points.  (RG)
