ARE YOU WHERE you’ve always wanted to be?

At this point in my life I would say, no, not at the moment. During childhood stage, we all start out with a big plan to aspire to become someone in particular and through the events of life it takes us for a spin and points us into a totally different direction.

And therefore, we are forced to work our way around these obstacles of life trying to make it back or simply finding another paths just to reach our destination.

I am currently on that other path.

What is your biggest professional challenge?

Society. We live in a country that is currently in a daze and settles for what may.

There is no way in the 21st century that we as a society should be 25-plus years behind where technology is concerned, and where financing viable projects is like climbing Mount Everest at our commercial banks – thus resulting in great ideas being swept under the rug.

What is your biggest life challenge?

Difficult people.

Life was never created for us to live it in the way that most of us currently do; we as human beings make life so hard and difficult for others that it becomes a challenge just to survive.

When you look to the future, what do you see?

I see our region becoming a force to be reckoned with in all sectors – entertainment and trade just to mention a few.

I see thriving economies. I see our sharp minds giving back to our region and contributing to ingenuity in the technology space and where development is concerned, building stable economies for future generations.

What is your favourite pastime?

I am in my late 30s and I spend most of my time working to see the company that my staff and I are building come to fruition.

It gives me great pleasure to see our accomplishments thus far and to see the products we have created are working and serving the greater good for our region.

The plan is to enjoy every step of the way towards success.

What is your favourite meal?

This may sound strange but I really do not have one, but if you must know, as a child, I loved a good piece of fried chicken breast with fries, of course.

On Saturday nights, where are you likely to be?

For now, at home in my home office plugging away at the business, making sure most is well in all areas and work on what I can fix and prepare a list for my teammates to work on to keep the momentum going.

It does not stop after you’ve made your first sale, you have to keep improving on your products and services to your customers who are your greatest assets.

What upsets you the most?

Being misunderstood when I know I am well within my rights.

What is your guiding philosophy?

To help those in my circle become financially free.

Money does not move me and if I can assist others to have and live a comfortable life; I would have earned my rewards by giving to others and helping someone along the way; and all I ask for in return is that they too, do the same.

If you had the chance to manage Barbados for a day, what would you do?

I would make serious changes to our financial system to empower aspiring entrepreneurs who have viable ideas with the means to have access to technical support to operate and run sustainable businesses thus contributing to our economic growth.
