St Catherine, St Ambrose take early lead

DEFENDING CHAMPIONS St Catherine and St Ambrose Primary hold the early lead as the National Primary Schools’ Athletic Championships got underway at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

St Catherine lead the girls’ section of the Barbados Teachers Cooperative Credit Union Obadele Thompson Zone with 51 points, five more than St Mark’s. St Elizabeth Primary are third with 39.

Among the boys, St Ambrose have taken the early lead with 46 points, one more than defending champions St Catherine. Trinity Academy are ten points adrift in third place.
