BARBADIAN RAMONA RAMJIT-MUNOZ could be the next Miss Health And Fitness.
Ramjit-Munoz, a World Beauty Fitness and Fashion (WBFF) professional bikini model, said she entered the competition on a whim.
“I saw Muscle And Fitness Hers Magazine was having a search. I submitted my entry and I was selected to go through to the public voting phase. Back in my days of representing Barbados in regional and international pageants, I was into staying fit, going to Surfside Gym when it used to be by the Hilton. I’ve always been into going to the gym, but I took it more serious in 2012. I was 33 years old when my passion grew,” she said from the United States where she lives.

The winner of the competition will be featured in a two-page spread in the magazine, along with a front cover reference. The winner also receives a grand prize of US$20 000, where some of the proceeds will go towards Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors Foundation, a charity for military veterans. (RA)
