IT WAS back to their winning ways for St Cyprian’s boys and Selah girls in the Andrea Blackett Zone of the National Primary Schools Athletics Championships at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex, yesterday.
After triumphing in 2014 and 2015, St Cyprian’s were dethroned last year by St Alban’s by a mere three points but the Britton’s Cross Road-based private school turned the tables this year, amassing 225 points.
St Alban’s had to settle for second place with 198 points while Good Shepherd (188) were third among the boys.
The battle for girls’ supremacy went down to the wire with Selah gaining 196 points to dethrone Good Shepherd, who were second on 193. (EZS)
