BARBADOS PRIDE cricketers were treated to a VIP reception yesterday after returning home with the WICB Regional Super50 trophy.

After lifting their seventh regional limited-overs title by defeating Jamaica Scorpions in the final at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua on Saturday night, the squad was warmly embraced during a welcome party in the Grace Adams Suite at Grantley Adams International Airport.

A group of dignitaries led by Minister of Sport Stephen Lashley, along with Barbados Cricket Association officials, representatives of the sponsors ICBL and parents of the players were among those greeting the champions.
