Teen shot in thigh at terminal

POLICE ARE CONDUCTING investigations into a shooting incident which occurred around 4:30 p.m. today in the River Terminal, Nursery Drive, St Michael.

During this incident, Donston McDonald Powlett, 17, of 6th Avenue, New Orleans, St Michael received a gunshot injury to his right thigh.

Police say preliminary investigations suggest Powlett was involved in an altercation with a group of men when he was shot.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by a private car. (PR)
