WINNING STREAKS always come to an end; and after five years, Cocks House (Red) were dethroned by Alleyne House (Blue) at Princess Margaret Secondary School Sports yesterday.

And even before they were announced as the winners, Alleyne House had completed their victory lap around the National Stadium.

The new champions amassed 766 points, finishing ahead of Cocks House who came second with 721 points. Third place was awarded to Greenhalgh House (Green) who scored 597 points, and Peebles House (Purple) were fourth with 577 points.

The highlight of the day was in the boys’ Under-15 division. Raul Clarke, of Alleyne House, won practically every race he participated in, taunting his opponent Antonio Simmons of Cocks House, who kept running a close second to him. (RA)
