WHAT WAS SUPPOSED to be a moneymaking venture has turned out to be anything but for Henderson Craigg.

Months after making his final loan payment to CIBC First Caribbean International Bank (FCIB), the 48-year-old man said he was still awaiting the title deeds to the parcel of land which the bank was holding as security.

In an interview with the WEEKEND NATION, Craigg charged that he had been told by a loans officer at the financial institution that they could not locate the deeds and he would have to obtain the services of a lawyer.

The father of two and instructor at the Barbados Youth Service (BYS) explained that he had bought a parcel of land at Link Road, Lower Carlton, St James, just over a decade ago. (RB)
