Panthers leave them ‘blue vex’

THE YELLOW Panthers ran away with the title at the Queen’s College Inter-house Athletics Championships at the National Stadium on Tuesday.

They won the championship with 1 019 points while last year’s champions Blue Vex had to settle for second with 976 points and Green Dragons third with 851 points.

They were followed by Purple Pirates with 695, Orange Cheetahs (656) and Red Raptors (640).

The Yellow Panthers outran their opponents, gaining 100 points after winning five relay events. They collected gold in the Boys’ Division 4, 2 and 1 4×100 metres relays, the Division 2 girls’ 4×100 and the Open Boys’ 4×400 relay. (RG)
