THE BARBADOS Film Commission’s website is being seen as another landmark in the development of the cultural industries sector in Barbados.

This is the view of Minister of Culture Stephen Lashley as he applauded those involved in its creation when the website – www.barbadosfilmcommission.org – went live at an official launch reception recently at Courtyard by Marriott in Hastings, Christ Church.

The website aims to assist in the marketing and promotion of Barbados as a prime location for filming.

Speaking to an audience that included Film Commissioner Annette Nias, who was the driving force behind the endeavour, Lashley reaffirmed Government’s commitment to the sector. (SDB Media)
