48-year-old struck and killed trying to cross the road

POLICE ARE MAKING an appeal for witnesses to the island’s 12th road fatality for 2017.

Anderson Dacosta Joseph, 48, of Westmoreland, St James, was struck and killed by a car while attempting to cross the road around 9 p.m. Sunday.

He was accompanied by his five-year-old son Nazaria Joseph who was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance, complaining for pain to his hands and head.  

The car was driven by 19 year old Nicholii Greene of Carlton, St James.
