A CHRIST CHURCH man has been remanded to prison on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and nine rounds of ammunition.
He is 22-year-old Rodney Junior Romario Rogers of Bartlett Tenantry, Sargeants Village.
The alleged offences occurred on March 3 when police conducted an operation in Rogers’ neighbourhood.
He was seen and a search of his person revealed the gun and ammunition.
Rogers also faces additional charges of unlawful use of a firearm, violent disorder and two counts of wounding.
Rogers appeared before Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch in the District ‘C’ Magistrates Court today and will reappear on April 4. (PR/NB)
