Suspect in custody after ATM incident

A MAN IS in police custody after an apparent attempt to rob an automatic teller machine at the Carlton complex in Black Rock, St Michael.

Workers cleaning the area reportedly held the suspect and restrained him until police arrived.

The Republic Bank ATM was left in disrepair following the incident.

Police public relations officer Inspector Roland Cobbler said a release will be issued later. (NB)
