I DO NOT THINK it is normal to continuously experience abnormal feelings when you are approaching your workplace.
How many of you actually get a sudden headache or a feeling of nausea when you are ten minutes away from work? How many feel as if you are a victim and no sunlight is shining on you? Do you want to change that experience?
I have been there and escaped. You can escape too. It amazed me that the source of my grim feelings was based on someone placing a curse on my life.
Grenadian national Dr Nella Roberts, in her book Transform Your Life: Seven Steps to a Better Life, defines a curse as “a thought, statement, act or energy directed at someone with intention to hurt or adversely affect the person, his property, or life”.
You may be surprised to know that there are some people who exist on this planet who are versed in necromancy and daily use it. Therefore, I too like Dr Roberts have called on the Spirit that dwells within to remove the curse. Additionally, I did the following:
1. Recognise the source of the negative thoughts and return them to the sender.
2. Implement a progress programme and repeat positive affirmations.
3. I joined a spiritual group so that I could exchange ideas.
4. I read literature from Iyanna Vanzant, Dr Susan Taylor and Dr Nella Roberts.
5. I invested in crystal healing and bought crystals.
6. Took sea baths which are essential.
7. Prayer and meditation were rigorously employed. Remember, praying is talking to God and meditation is hearing the response from God.
I was successful in breaking that curse and am rejoicing.
Herbal hero
A silent doctor, which too must be removed from thoughts of “curse”, is the love vine, scientifically known as cuscuta Americana. Many Barbadians only know this vine as parasitic. Today, let us look at this vine not as a curse vine but as a healing plant.
The book, Duke’s Handbook Of Medicinal Plants of Latin America, has revealed the following about the use of the love wine:
• Trinidad – jaundice and marasmus.
• Jamaica – paediatric cold, colic and marasmus.
• Argentina – promotes well-being.
• Bahamas – used as an aphrodisiac, a bath for itch and prickly heat.
• Cuba – constipation and jaundice.
• Dominica – jaundice.
• Haiti – anorexia, hepatitis and jaundice.
• Yucatan – biliousness and dyspepsia.
Finally, continue to recognise that we are all walking this journey together. No one must be left behind, so let us locate the love vine and ensure that it becomes one of our herbal heroes. Remember, love the vine and destroy the curse.
