NINE DAYS before the start of the series between West Indies and Pakistan, fans do not know the cost of tickets.

The seven-week series starts with a Twenty20 international at Kensington Oval next week Sunday, before moving to the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago. The teams will play four Twenty20s, three One-Day Internationals and three Tests across five venues.

A WEEKENDSPORT team, in an effort to ascertain the price of tickets yesterday, first made a check on the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) website. This exercise proved futile as a click on the “Buy Ticket” link showed an error message, and redirected users to the home page.

A trip to the WICB ticket office at Kensington Oval also proved futile, as the doors were closed and heavily padlocked. (RA)
