TITLE CONTENDERS Weymouth Wales will test the will of struggling Waterford Compton today in the first game of a triple-header in the Barbados Football Association’s Digicel Premier League at the Wildey AstroTurf.
The matches will complete the first round, so the outcome will help to further shape the prospects of the sides going into the second round.
On this score, there have been contrasting results for Wales and Compton. The former are second, behind the Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP) on 20 points from eight games – three fewer than the leaders who have finished the first round on 23 points.
Wales can match that tally with a victory, although they are still likely to be second because the soldiers have a superior goal difference. (PR)
