CRANE EQUIPMENT Ellerton staged a remarkable comeback, lifting themselves from two goals down to prevail 3-2 against Notre Dame when the Barbados Football Association’s Digicel Premier League continued at the Wildey Astroturf on Sunday.

Goals from Daniel Rowe and Renaldo Seale propelled Notre Dame to a 2-0 first half lead, but an impressive second half from Ellerton saw them turn the game on its head.

Shakille Belle struck twice within 20 minutes of the resumption, before a 93rd minute winner from veteran Gregory “Lalu” Goodridge sealed all three points for Ellerton.

In other games, Weymouth Wales ensured it was honours even in the race for the title after they dispatched Home Improvement Hardware Waterford Compton 8-0 to win their game in hand and move back level with the Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme at the top of the table. (ML)
