One dead in five-vehicle accident

ONE PERSON HAS DIED following a five-vehicle smash-up that included a police van.

Police confirmed that a man died on the scene at the junction of Carrington and Edgecumbe Hill, St Phillip.

The collision occurred around 7 p.m.

This is the 14th death on the road so far for the year. (AC)
