DEAR CHRISTINE, I am in my last year at school and with all that I have to do, I think it is very unfair of my mother and aunt, with whom I live, to expect more from me.
I would prefer to come home and find my bed unmade, than to have them fret with me over what I have left undone. I am human and when they start, well, I just have to answer them and then they say how rude I am.
Anyhow Christine, I am in big trouble. I am pregnant and the young man wants me to have an abortion. I am afraid of having one and also afraid of telling my mother. Please advise me what to do.

Dear M,
Indeed you are in trouble but you cannot hide a pregnancy forever. The thing you ought to do is to tell your mother and your aunt.
I am sorry you were finding life so difficult at home, but I am also sure that you have realised that you have behaved very wrongly and foolishly.
It would have taken very little more from you to assist in keeping your room or bed tidy. Instead, you just had your own way, and piled rudeness on top of that.
You’ll have to tell your mother at least what is happening, because now you not only have your future to think about, but the helpless baby on the way. It is obvious its father has no intention of taking on any responsibility since he prefers that you have an abortion.
Do the next best thing and talk to your family about this mess you’ve found yourself in.
– CHRISTINE
