Missing woman found in ravine

MISSING WOMAN Eileen Bovell was found by police this evening in 100-foot ravine in her Rock Hall, St Thomas community.

The 69-year-old who was reported missing by her daughter this morning was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

The search party comprised police officers from the Northern Division assisted by others from the Canine Unit, Tactical Response Unit and the Suppressing Criminal Activities Threatening Society (SCATS) Unit. 

The officers were under the command of Inspector Rickson Leacock.

Police public relations officer Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler said they rescued Bovell using their training in casualty evacuation techniques. (PR/NB)
