CHRIST CHURCH FOUNDATION came out to win, and they did – in the girls division.
As the flags were lowered to mark the end of the Powerade Barbados Secondary Schools Athletic Championships (BSSAC), the defending champions celebrated their victory in the girls’ division.
The southerners amassed 332 points, ahead of second-placed ScotiaBank Springer Memorial, who earned 264.5 points, while third-placed Harrison College accumulated 221.8 points.
Foundation head coach Seibert Straughn said they came out to win, and while they placed third in the boys’ division, he said they accepted their positions.
