TRAINER Boston John, in his typically quiet manner, commanded all the attention yesterday at the Garrison Savannah by sweeping half of the eight-race horse racing programme in ideal conditions.
John started the Paying Tribute To The Heritage Of The Garrison Historic Area Raceday with winners in the first three events, before landing the feature with Lucky Adventure ridden by jockey Rasheed Hughes.
Hughes followed in John’s footsteps by landing a hat-trick of his own in the final three races.
H and M gelding’s Lucky Adventure, under a confident and smart ride by Hughes, turned the tables on Spa Sprint winner Wild Cat Tea with a smart front-running ride. (LY)
