Lumber Company Lakers sent a message to the Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Premier League, welcoming back national players Kregg Jones and Mark Bridgeman in Sunday’s 88-66 statement win over champs Orange 3 Pinelands at the Barbados Community College.
The win may have shifted the conversation, and the balance of power in the league, after all eyes were on St John’s following their huge offseason haul.
It also served to put Lakers back atop the standings, helping the league leaders bounce back from their only loss this season. (JM)
