St Michael’s girls move to third at BSSAC

THE ST MICHAEL SCHOOL has one more reason to celebrate.

On Wednesday, students found out they had placed third among the girls at the recently-concluded Powerade Barbados Secondary Schools’ Athletics Championships (BSSAC).

The title was won by Christ Church Foundation School and former champions Springer memorial were second.

Harrison College, who were third, slipped one place down after a discrepancy was discovered in the points.

The news came on the day students and staff at the Martindale’s Road, St Michael school were celebrating the first ever BSSAC title for the boys. (SAT)
