EARLIER TODAY, the Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies recorded a tremor to the southwest of Barbados.
The quake, which occurred around 5:45 p.m., was recorded at latitude 12.44 North and Longitude 60.46 West, about 120Km to the southwest of Bridgetown.
It was roughly 117Km southeast of Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines. Several people in that country reported feeling the tremor.
The magnitude was 4.4.
