CARIFTA GAMES 2017 have begun, and the boys of the Barbados Water Polo teams are on top of their game in The Bahamas.
The 19 and under boys demolished Bonaire 19-5 in their first match at the Betty Kelly Kenning Aquatic Centre in Nassau.
The 16 and under boys defeated Trinidad and Tobago 10-8, taking the lead early on and controlling the game throughout.
They later went on to secure another win against Caribbean powerhouse Jamaica 9-8.
The 19 and under girls’ lost to Trinidad and Tobago 3-17, after starting well in the first quarter.
The CARIFTA Swimming Championships will be held from April 15 to 19(RA)
