Spreading message of peace

FOR THE PAST three years Neville Samuels has been driving around Barbados with a message affixed to the back of his vehicle – it is a plea to put the guns down now!

The message reads: “God wants to use you. Nothing matters more than having God’s will for your life – Please put the guns down now!

Samuels told the SATURDAY SUN that as he travels throughout Barbados in his red open-back truck he knows that people read the message which is written in bold black with a marker.

“As a Christian I love the Lord and my aim is to spread the gospel; it doesn’t matter what media or what medium – just spread the gospel. That is what God put us here for,” he said, pointing out that people usually acknowledged his message with a tooting of their horn or a thumbs up as he drove by. (MB)
