BARBADOS IS STILL looking to capture the gold medal at the CARIFTA Water Polo Championships in The Bahamas.
The 16 and under boys secured their spot in the finals after demolishing Bonaire 9-6 in their final group game, played last evening.
They will take on The Bahamas for the gold at 1:30 p.m.
The girls’ 19 and under team lost their semi-final match against, but the biggest loss was in the boys’ division against Bahamas.
They went down after being up by four points heading into the final quarter.
However, the boys’ remain optimistic as they go on to play Bonaire for third position at midday.
