A SPECTACULAR all-round performance by Barbadian Roshon Primus led Trinidad and Tobago Red Force to a comprehensive victory by 130 runs over Barbados Pride in a compelling contest when the ninth round Digicel Regional 4- Day contest ended within three days at Kensington Oval last night.

Set 240 to win, Barbados hobbled to 109 all out, an hour into the final session.

Primus, who was named Man of the Match, stroked two impressive half-centuries and had match figures of nine for 42, including five for 21 in the second innings.

In only his third over he plucked out the middle stump of West Indies wicketkeeper/batsman Shane Dowrich to reduce Barbados to 62 for four. In his fourth over he sent down a short delivery to West Indies batsman Roston Chase who hooked it straight to Sheldon Cotterell on the long-leg boundary. (PH)
