PEOPLE ALWAYS say nice things about those who have been killed, but this is one time, chorused residents of Long Bay, St Philip, that the words truly describe murdered man Jibri Cezont.

The 25-year-old Cezont was gunned down in his kitchen around 1:55 a.m. yesterday.

His brother, 23, who was not named by police but who neighbours called Negus, was shot in both legs when he rushed to Jibri’s aid. He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

When the DAILY NATION visited the family home, a male, who was later identified as another brother, ordered the newspaper off the property after steadfastly refusing to comment. (HLE)
