APOSTLE MARGUERITE BREEDY-HAYNES said she was destined to save lost souls and was given a gift to transform lives. Her journey to apostleship wasn’t easy but she held her ground and through faith she carried through. In her riveting testimony she explained that with God’s help anything is possible.
“When I was 19 years old I got pregnant and my parents kicked me out and the only thing I could have resorted to was God. I was homeless for a while and during that time I had powerful dreams. God spoke to me from the sky and told me I was ready to minister to His people. Eventually I started a prayer meeting at my home and around 400 people came to these sessions.”
Apostle Breedy-Haynes is the pastor of Saving The Lost At Any Cost, End Time Ministries, and she has also opened a church in St Lucia and one in Zambia. Her mission is to help transform the lives of young men and women and to help them empower themselves through rehabilitation.
“People see me now and think all these things just happened, but I had to put in hard work. I moved around, lived at people and did different types of work to support my daughter. All those times I would read my Bible; so it was through God that I accomplished what I have now.”
“One night something happened to me. A glory cloud came over my head and I realised I had abilities beyond other human beings. A wind came from the east and everyone was on the ground, it was like a supernatural episode,” she said.
This was one of the events that proved to her she was ready to teach the word of God but she had to make the decision herself.
“When I came back to Barbados and after I had my daughter I had a dream where I was escorted to hell and placed in the mouth of hell. I saw Jesus coming from the east and He told the demons to leave me because I belonged to Him.
“Jesus’ face was as bright as the sun and He said, “Marguerite I have called you to change nations. You are going to do great and mighty things in your life and though you will meet opposition, I would take care of it”.
“When I woke up I realised I had to make a decision so I decided to serve Him. Jesus also told me He would put people in place to take me to the next level.”
The apostle also stated that God does not have a gender; therefore the person delivering the message should not matter – only the message itself.
“There is no gender in God and being a woman is no different to being a man. God wills anybody that He wants to use you once you unveil yourself to Him. That is why I believe my life is an example to those who wish to follow Him.”
The St Lucia-born said her house became a place where the spirit of the Lord dwelled.
“From the time you step to the door of my house the spirit of God was there and people came to be healed and to be given prophecy.”
The pastor said she has been able to reach thousands of people through her ministries. She has a television show and has penned several books. Through these media she shared her thoughts and guidance to people regionally and internationally.
“I wrote over 20 books without knowing anything about writing books. I also have a magazine where I feature men and women who have a demand for Christ and how they go about their daily lives. My TV programme allows me reach those whom my books have not reached.
“At first I had my doubts about my path in life but after I was convinced this was my calling I never looked back.
“When you are truly called upon by God, He gives you all that you need to fulfil His plan. My faith and my truth is within Him.”
