A ST MICHAEL man was remanded to prison when he appeared in court yesterday charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
He is 24-year-old Forde’s Road, Clapham resident Temar Damien Nurse.
Police say the accused attempted to run away when he spotted police officers in Bonnetts, Brittons Hill, St Michael on Monday.
Nurse was stopped and searched and the firearm and ammunition were allegedly discovered in the waist of his pants.
He appeared before Magistrate Douglas Fredericks in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court and was remanded to Her Majesty Prison Dodds to reappear in court on May 10. (PR/NB)
