C.O. WILLIAMS RANGERS scored a routine 48-28 victory over Newbury All Stars on Wednesday night at the Netball Stadium.
The 20-goal difference between the teams aptly summed up the proceedings.
Rangers went into the game as if they knew they had piece of cake for the taking and they played that way from the start.
On the other hand, it seemed that Newbury made up in their minds that they were just the supporting act.
It might have been so much more competitive if the St George-based side didn’t appear to lack self-belief.
However, Rangers were intent on accomplishing their mission, which was to seek some redemption after an underwhelming performance in their opening league game against the Under-21s, which ended in a 28-28 draw.
